Insomnia, a common sleep problem characterized by trouble getting asleep, staying asleep, or having restful sleep, is the main condition for which a zopiclone 7.5 mg tablet is prescribed. Zopiclone is a sedative-hypnotic drug that helps control sleep patterns. It does this by making the effects of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) stronger in the brain and the spinal cord. This has a relaxing impact that shortens the time it takes to fall asleep and increases the amount of time spent sleeping overall. Particularly useful for treating acute bouts of insomnia in the short term, zopiclone 7.5 mg gives users the comfort they need to return to a more normal sleep schedule.
